As described worked fine.

As the lid screws down from above, I’ve attached the thermal pad to the lid so it can easily be removed & the ssd swapped out. On older usb 3 ports sustained 300mb read and write were achieved with a kioxia basic nvme drive.

Check the quirks of the different interface types. Despite looking very similar, M.2 NVMe and M.2 SATA are different.Mine is an NVMe, so worked perfectly with this enclosure.

That is a slim and simple setup enclosure. It is quite nice at this price range

Great for speed of transfers. Neat and reasonably small.

I got two of these both well made easy to put together come with all the stuff you need .I own there 2.5 inch sata enclosure which I've had for 3 year which is super quality to just needed a smaller style storage option
